Professor K Ray Chaudhuri
DSc, FEAN, FRCP(Edin), FRCP (Lond), MD Professor of Movement Disorders, Director, Parkinson Foundation Centre of Excellence, Kings College, London
Professor K. Ray Chaudhuri is Professor of Neurology/Movement Disorders at King’s College Hospital and King’s College London and Director of the Parkinson Foundation International Centre of Excellence at King’s College. He is Chairman of the Industry Engagement Committee, Co-Chair Taskforce of the Parkinson Wellness committee of the Movement Disorders Society (MDS and Ex Chair of the Membership and Public Relations Committee of the Movement Disorders Society (MDS), was a member of the MDS Congress Scientific Programme Committee (2013-2017) and is Founder and Ex Chairman and current steering group member of the MDS Non-Motor Parkinson’s Disease Study Group and a member of the MDS-ES Education committee.
He was the founder -Editor-in-Chief of the njp Parkinson’s Disease (2020 impact factor >8), Guest Editor for special editions of Frontiers in Neurology and Journal of Parkinson’s Disease, reviewer for all mainstream movement disorders journals as well as JAMA, Neurology, Annals of Neurology, BMJ, Brain, Lancet, and Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Psychiatry. He serves as an advisor (MHRA health technology and scientific advisor) to the UK National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, NHS England, General Medical Council as well as Parkinson’s UK and Parkinson’s Europe. Professor Chaudhuri is the author of over 500 articles, co-editor of 5 books on Parkinson’s disease and restless legs syndrome, and winner of the British Medical Association Book Awards commendation in 2015 and 2017.
He is also the recipient of 2018 Jay Van Andel Award Outstanding Achievement in Parkinson’s Disease Research (pioneering holistic assessments and non-motor subtypes), as well as National Institute for Health Research/Royal College of Physicians award for outstanding research leadership in 2017. He was elected honorary member of the Movement Disorders Society in 2021 and received the UK NHS Gold merit award in 2021 for excellence in research and clinical service. In 2023 he was featured as “role model” in British Medical Journal.
He has been a guest lecturer worldwide, including in Japan, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Australia, India, Africa, the US, Russia, and Europe. In 2022/2023 he is ranked fourth in the world for Parkinson’s publications/expertise and expertise since 2014 and no 1 in the UK (expertscape: Parkinson’s disease).

Dr John Davison
Consultant Geriatrician, Burwood and Christchurch Hospitals, Christchurch
I am an SMO Geriatrician in Burwood Hospital, Christchurch with an older person’s inpatient clinical role. Specialty interest in falls, complex dizziness, and syncope. I trained in Geriatric and General Medicine in the UK, NZ, and Australia.
My clinical and research interests in fall prevention with a PhD awarded in 2005 from Newcastle University. Former clinical lead for Falls & Syncope Service in Newcastle upon Tyne. Postgraduate Medical Education interest - former Deputy Director of Medical Education, Associate Dean for Health Education England (NE & N Cumbria), and elected member of the Council for the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh.
I have been a course organiser for the Edinburgh International Course in Medicine for the Older Adult and a regular faculty member for the Dizziness for the Physician 2-day International Course. Moving to New Zealand has enabled me to spend more time with my young family and pursue my hobbies of cycling and mountain biking.

Jugdeep is a consultant geriatrician working in the innovative and award-winning POPS (Perioperative Medicine for Older People undergoing Surgery) service at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.
She is an Honorary Professor at King’s College London and an Associate Professor at University College London, with research interests including preoperative assessment and optimisation, health services research focusing on perioperative pathways, and postoperative delirium.
She has a wide education and training portfolio, having established the first Allied Health Professional, Foundation, and Specialist Registrar training programs in perioperative medicine, co-authored e-learning modules, MSc modules, and multiple textbook chapters.
Her national roles include Deputy Director for the Centre for Perioperative Care, President-Elect for the British Geriatrics Society, and involvement in a variety of steering, advisory, and guideline groups (NELA, RCoA, BGS, and NICE)

Dr Victoria Gibson
Consultant in Geriatrics and Internal Medicine, Christchurch, New Zealand
Dr Vicky Gibson is a Consultant in Geriatrics and Internal Medicine based in Christchurch, New Zealand. Vicky completed training in the UK, with an interest in perioperative medicine, including involvement in NELA and orthogeriatric. She moved to New Zealand in 2022 and co-developed a joint geriatrician-anesthetist high-risk shared decision-making pre-operative clinic (CARES clinic), which has now been running for 2 years.
More recently, she has relocated to Christchurch NZ to be closer to family and to take on new challenges helping develop new frailty services. Her passion is good wrap-around peri-operative care of frail patient

Professor Emily Henderson
Academic Geriatrician, University of Bristol, UK
Dr Emily Henderson is an Associate Professor in Ageing and Movement Disorders at the University of Bristol, UK. She runs a translational program of research that spans basic science through to clinical trials and healthcare service innovation.
She has been awarded >£10 million in funding as principal investigator (or co-PI) and has been co-applicant on research grants of>£21 million since completing her PhD in 2016. She is an Honorary Consultant Geriatrician with an active clinical practice at the Royal United Hospitals Bath where she specialises in the care of older people with Parkinson's and related conditions.
She is the Chief Investigator of the £2.1 million NIHR multicenter drug trial, CHIEF PD that has successfully reached its target, recruiting 600 patients to provide definitive evidence as to the clinical and cost-effectiveness of rivastigmine for falls in Parkinson's.
She has organised conferences and delivered lectures at National and International meetings as well as at the Royal College of Physicians. She is the Lead for Ageing in the West of England Clinical Research Network (CRN), past Chair of the British Geriatric Society Movement Disorder Section, and is currently Vice President of Academic Affairs for the British Geriatrics Society.

Professor Shen-Yang Lim

Professor of Neurology, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpar, Malaysia
Professor Lim is a Neurologist and Professor at the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where he runs a busy clinical practice specializing in Parkinson's and related disorders. Dr. Lim has also published extensively in these areas, in major scientific journals.
He has been an active member of the International Parkinson & Movement Disorder Society (MDS), being closely involved in multiple task forces and committees. He is currently Chair of the MDS Asian-Oceanian Section (AOS).
Dr. Lim's main research interests are in the following areas: (i) PD (particularly genetics and genotype-phenotype correlations; evidence-based medicine/clinical trials; non-motor features including gastrointestinal aspects; comorbidities; patient-centered care; and rating scales/disease staging); (ii) Parkinson-plus syndromes and other miscellaneous/"orphan" movement disorders, including progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP).

Professor Bindu Menon

Prof. Bindu Menon is the Head of the Department at Apollo Hospitals Nellore, India. She has a teaching experience of 20 years, 100 publications, editor of two books and has 23 chapters to her credit.
She is the Secretary General of the Indian Epilepsy Association. She holds various positions Research committee member of the World Stroke Organization; Asia Oceanic Association of Neurology representative of the European Academy of Neurology Scientific Panel on Epilepsy; Special Group Neuroepidemiology, World Federation of Neurology; Associate Editor, Neurology section, Annals of Medicine, President, Outreach subsection Indian Academy of Neurology, OneNeurology Ambassador, life time Network member of NCD Alliance.
She is a recipient of the ILAE Leadership Program Award, the World Stroke Award from the World Stroke Organization, the Mridha Spirit of Neurology Award, the A.B. Baker Teacher Award, and the Palatucci Leadership Award from the American Academy of Neurology, the National Indian Medical Association Doctors day award 2023 among others.
She has 8 fellowships from international and national organizations to her credit.
She founded the Dr Bindu Menon Foundation which has been instrumental in starting several novel projects for the first time in the country, “Neurology on Wheels”, Tele awareness Programme, “Stroke help” app, and an Epilepsy help app.
She is the Founder of the start-up “Artificial Intelligence in Neurology”

Dr Heidi Lindroth
Senior Associate and Nurse Scientist, Rochester, NM, Mayo Clinic, Indianapolis, IN
Heidi Lindroth is an agile, clinician-nurse scientist with expertise in neuroscience, aging research, and Artificial Intelligence. Her vision is a world without delirium. She aims to achieve this vision by co-designing solutions with patients, families, and the healthcare team to use evidence to stop delirium in clinical care.
Dr. Lindroth is an Assistant Professor at Mayo Clinic and is an NIH-funded clinician-scientist, currently working to automate delirium severity measurement in the ICU using Artificial Intelligence. She serves on the American Delirium Society Board of Directors and co-leads the World Delirium Awareness Day Study Team.

Professor Jalesh Panicker
Professor of Neurology and Uro-Neurology University College London, Clinical Lead in Uro-Neurology The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London
He has been involved in setting up multidisciplinary care pathways between Urology, Neurology and Gastroenterology that also involve Pelvic floor physiotherapy and Psychology. Despite the challenges of being a full-time clinician on the NHS, Dr Panicker has established a robust research programme with external funding exploring multimodal techniques to evaluate the lower spinal cord and its role in the control of pelvic functions.
He leads a multi-site collaborative project establishing novel non-invasive neurophysiology techniques for evaluating pelvic sensory and motor innervation, and his team has been phenotyping pelvic visceral and somatic dysfunction in patients presenting with unexplained urogenital symptoms. Dr Panicker has a specialist interest in the assessment and management of urinary symptoms in Parkinson’s disease and has researched the role of melatonin in treating nocturia in Parkinson's disease.
He has published over 200 articles and book chapters and has been editor of two textbooks. He is involved in teaching and training fellows across Neurology, Urology, Gynaecology and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in the UK and abroad. He chairs the NEUROGED project, which aims to establish guidelines for the management of urinary and sexual symptoms in patients with neurological disease intended specifically for practising neurologists and sits on the board of the International Neurourology Society (INUS) as Education Officer, the management group of the Autonomics scientific panel of the European Academy of Neurology and Neurology Committee of the European Academy of Urology.

Dr Karolina Poplawska-Domaszewicz

Dr Karolina Popławska-Domaszewicz (Ph.D., MD) graduated from the Karol Marcinkowski University of Medical Sciences in Poznań, Poland, and is a clinical academic neurologist at the Department of Neurology of the University Clinical Hospital in Poznań. She is also visiting faculty and senior researcher at the world-renowned Kings Parkinson’s Centre of Excellence in Kings College Hospital in London, UK (https://parkinsons-london.co.uk/kings-parkinsons-coe-team/.) and visiting faculty at Kings College Hospital, Dubai.
She obtained her Ph.D. in 2017 and is developing her research portfolio addressing non-motor aspects of Parkinson’s disease (PD), modern treatment of Parkinson's disease with the use of infusion therapies, and deep brain stimulation (DBS) in addition to pioneering the „stepped care” strategy for PD.
She is involved in several international projects defining nonmotor subtypes of Parkinson's and committee member of the Movement Disorders Society Industry Engagement Group as well as the PD nonmotor study group. She is also an elected member of the MDS LEAP program. She has lectured internationally in UAE, India, and MDS expert meetings on advanced therapies in PD (Katowice, 2023) and is due to deliver lectures in Australia, London, and South Africa in 2024-2025 period as well as faculty at the 2024 Controversies in Neurology meeting in London.
She is an active member of the Polish Neurological Society

Professor Ian Reid
Endocrinologist, University of Auckland
Ian Reid is an endocrinologist and Distinguished Professor at the University of Auckland. His research interests include calcium metabolism, vitamin D, osteoporosis, and Paget’s disease.
He has worked extensively in the development of bisphosphonates for use in osteoporosis and Paget’s disease, and on the safety and efficacy of calcium supplements, vitamin D deficiency, and supplementation, and has been involved in the development of most new osteoporosis treatments in the last 30 years.
He is a past president of the International Bone and Mineral Society (IBMS) and the Australian & New Zealand Bone & Mineral Society (ANZBMS), and recipient of research awards from the European Calcified Tissue Society, the American Society of Bone and Mineral Research, the ANZBMS and the New Zealand Prime Minister’s Science Prize

Dr Barbara Rosario
Senior Consultant Geriatrician and Clinical Professor NUS, Singapore
Dr Barbara is a Senior Consultant Geriatrician at Changi General, Singapore, and Clinical Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS, Singapore. She is passionate about the care of older patients and her current projects include research studies to identify frailty in hospitalised older patients and the application of the hospital frailty risk score (HFRS) as a tool for frailty screening. Her other studies include the development of the Simple Segmentation tool, in collaboration with researchers at Duke-NUS, Singapore, and recently completed studies including a randomised control trial investigating vitamin D in the prevention of recurrent BPPV and another study investigating the S-Patch device to identify arrhythmias in older falls patients. Her service development projects include the provision of a geriatric emergency medicine service which includes pathways for the management of front door frailty and the provision of access to integrated community services. She is the immediate past vice president of SGMS, Singapore. She attained a Master of Philosophy investigating transcranial magnetic stimulation in stroke patients with dysphasia and is a former EAMA XIII student.

Dr Indu Subramanian
Clinical Professor UCLA, Director, Southwest Parkinson Disease Research, Education and clinical Care, California, USA
Dr. Indu Subramanian received her medical degree from the University of Toronto, Canada. She did her neurology residency and Movement Disorders fellowship training at UCLA. Dr. Subramanian has stayed on at UCLA and is now a Clinical Professor of Neurology.
She is the Director of the Southwest PADRECC (Parkinson Disease Research, Education and Clinical Care) Center of Excellence in Parkinson's Disease. She has developed a strong interest in integrative medicine with a special interest in Yoga and Mindfulness. She underwent a 200-hour yoga teacher training and studied mindfulness at the VA through Insight LA. Dr. Subramanian got board certified in Integrative medicine.
She is also passionate about palliative care for Parkinson's Disease. She did a contemplative fellowship for health care providers through the New York Zen Center is an AAN Palatucci Fellow and completed the AAN Transforming Leaders Program.
She is the co-chair of the Wellness Task Force at the Movement Disorders Society and the chair of the Movement Disorders Section at the AAN. Dr. Subramanian’s main research interest is on the effects of loneliness on people living with PD.

Professor EK Tan
Senior Consultant Neurology, National Neuroscience Institute, Duke-Nus Medical School, Singapore
Professor Tan Eng King is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Academic Affairs), and Senior Consultant with the Department of Neurology, National Neuroscience Institute (NNI). He is also a Professor at the Duke-NUS Medical School and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.
An influential figure in the field of research, Dr Tan has authored more than 500 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters on clinical and neuroimaging studies, functional genomics, and experimental therapeutics in Movement Disorders.
He has served as an editor in Parkinsonism-related disorders, the European Journal of Neurology, and the Journal of Parkinson’s Disease, among several others. He has received various national and international accolades including the David Marsden lectureship and Yoshi Mizuno lectureship awards.
Dr Tan has broad research interests including epidemiology, neuroimaging, clinical and functional genomics, and experimental therapeutics in Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, and other movement disorders.

Professor Louis Tan Chew Seng

Prof Louis Tan is a Senior Consultant Neurologist and Research Director at the National Neuroscience Institute, Singapore. He is also the Co-Director of Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Centre (TTSH campus) and a Clinical Professor at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, Singapore.
He is the Chair of the Publications Oversight Committee of the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society and previously served as its Treasurer, Chair of the Education Committee, Chair of the Asian-Oceanian Section of the Society, and a member of the International Executive Committee.
Upon graduating from the National University of Singapore and completing his neurology training at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, he underwent a movement disorders fellowship at the Parkinson’s Institute in Sunnyvale, California.
His areas of specialty and research interests are Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders. He is also interested in the epidemiology, clinical studies, and clinical trials in Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders.

Dr Rahul Unnikrishnan

Dr Rahul Unnikrishnan is a distinguished Geriatrician renowned for his expertise in patient care and contributions to medical research. Currently based at Rashid Hospital, affiliated with Mohammed bin Rashid Medical University in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Dr. Unnikrishnan has established himself as a leader in the field of Geriatric medicine.
Having earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Geriatric Medicine from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, India, Dr. Unnikrishnan further refined his skills with a Diploma in Geriatric Oncology from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan, Italy.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Unnikrishnan has actively pursued academic endeavors. He held pivotal roles as a Clinical Assistant Professor and Head of Division (Geriatric Medicine) at Sreevalsam Institute of Medical Sciences, India, and as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Geriatric Medicine at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, India. Dr. Unnikrishnan is deeply committed to mentoring medical trainees and overseeing research projects focused on geriatric care.
Dr. Unnikrishnan's research interests span geriatric awareness, frailty, and pharmacological interventions for the elderly. He has presented his findings at numerous national and international conferences, enriching the discourse in geriatric medicine.
Recognized for his dedication to advancing geriatric care, Dr. Unnikrishnan has assumed leadership roles in professional committees, notably serving on the UAE National Committee for Fellowship Program in Geriatrics and is currently the Scientific Committee Chairperson of Emirates Geriatrics Society. His unwavering commitment to improving the quality of geriatric care underscores his significant contributions to the medical community

Professor Daniel Weintraub
Professor of Psychiatry, Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania
Dr. Weintraub is a Professor of Psychiatry and Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine, and a Psychiatrist at the Parkinson’s Disease Research, Education and Clinical Center (PADRECC) at the Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center. A board-certified geriatric psychiatrist, he conducts clinical research on the psychiatric and cognitive complications of Parkinson’s disease.
He serves on multiple task forces and working groups of the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society (IPMDS), co-chairs the Cognitive-Behavioral Workgroup of the Fox Foundation-funded Parkinson’s Progression Markers Initiative (PPMI study), co-chairs the Cognitive Subgroup of NINDS Common Data Elements, is an Advisor to the Critical Path for Parkinson’s Consortium (CPP), and is Associate Editor of Movement Disorders Journal.
